i'd rather have the wind in my face.

had a conversation the other night with someone close to me & whose opinion i value & look up to, about my thoughts/decision on going overseas & doing something totally different from what i do now.
said person was quite against it.because of 'professional/career related' related.
i strongly disagreed. it's never been about the money for me.
if i had the chance to see the world & the only way i could do it was babysitting & being an urban gypsey.id do it in a heartbeat.
we all have our paths in life - they're different according to who are. whatever your destiny may be.how you get there is your perogative. correct?
i really don't believe that life revolves around the 'material' things. im all about experiences. & fun! fun is always good :)

making lots of money, doesn't define success in life. in this economy, is there even such thing as making money? i'm just trying to make it from month to month.
i want to LIVE my life. not get to 40something & think "if only.... it would've been... why didn't i"
holland/europe/the world/anywhere is not only something i want to do, it's something i NEED to do.
we add value to the world & the people around us by just being who you are.

make sense? sure, i won't be making tons of making, but it's not like im making any money here!
it'll be such a great & eye-opening experience.
i'll have struggles. i'll get homesick. i'll be broke. i'll be cold. guaranteed.
i'll be playing in the dirt, being random, dancing, learning, singing, laughing, crying, building aeroplanes & jumping out of trees with awesome people! guaranteed.

who could ask for anything more?

i'll be LIVING. GUARANTEED.
