i took the bus today

i've been out of commission this week aka i had the flu

hardly left the apartment

today, i woke up at 07:30 to catch the 08:30 bus to beetgumermolen

i've become so accustomed to using the car, that i was a little anxious to use the bus. nervous.

felt like a new world to me

well, i did it and.... oddly enough

i loved it

like, really enjoyed riding the bus to work

there's just something about sitting on that seat, music in my ears & getting a commentary-less tour of the city

we go together like a wink & a smile :)

whilst at work;

i had a conversation with a stranger for more than an hour

said conversation was in the study of my boss's home

stranger was helping out with the renovations in the house

he walked in & handed me my car keys

then sat down and started talking

30 minutes later, he got up to make himself a sandwich

...he came back and the conversation continued

it ended when i was sure i needed to get home (meds were calling) & he had to get back to work

....

today, i saw more of my world

and it was beautiful
