wait. what? michael jackson died?

okay, so im not sure if this post is for my remembrance in 10years time, or for the reading pleasure of my kids.
but yes, today Michael Jackson died today, at the age of 50, of a heart attack in his Los Angeles home.
how i heard?
it was around 00:45am & we were driving back from seeing Transformers 2 & i got an sms from Slivka telling me that he'd died, then right after I got an sms from Sarah telling me the same thing.
it's kind of surreal? micheal jackson is immortal.right? he can't die.

as soon as we got to the apartment, chynna & i turned on the tv and it was already on CNN & BBC - both channels had commentators, music historians etc in already!
geez, they don't waste time.

amid all the scandal, gossip, dysfunctionality the man was a living music legend.
we ALL know atleast one of his hits.
he was one of the worlds greatest entertainers & it was always just about the music.
i never knew him personally but i did enjoy his music.
i'll miss him. i'm saddened that i didn't get the opportunity to see him perform Live! now, that would've been, pretty much, amazing :)
