... the city i live in
the city i now call home - leeuwarden.
instead of making the 2hour trip to amsterdam, janet & i decided to explore a little bit of leeuwarden instead
great decision.
she took me, for lunch, to my new favourite food spot - bagles & beans - in the city
the bagle selection is amazing and all the topping selection, look AMAZING.
it was a great way to spend 2hours of a saturday afternoon, on the terrace, in the sun... chatting & people watching.

thereafter, we did some shopping - ofcourse!
she's lived here all her life, so was a great guide to quaint boutique with great deals.
my new loves - imprezz (great boots & accessories), fiftysix (a little pricey, but gorgeous jeans) & douglas (perfume store)
it was already quite late in the day and in true netherlands style, the weather was changing on us, so we wrapped it up with quick trip to Hema & H&M
and ofcourse a well deserved yummy ice-cream at Puur! - chocolate heaven

oh, i & found my signature (for now) fragrance!
it's been 24 years in the making! choosing a perfume has ALWAYS been a difficulty for me, because nothing's ever really stood out so much for me.
i've learnt that not all perfumes smell great on everybody... you've got to find the scent that works for you.
that was the reason for our quest to douglas
& i found it!
ed hardy by christian audigier! great smell (on me) & lasts all day - what more could i ask for
it was a really good day.
pieces of leeuwarden
