this weeks little pick-me-ups

all the kiddies were on great behaviour - little 'd' (in his own beautiful way) even asked me to cuddle with him on the couch

went out for hot choc with a couple of the ysa's after institute last night...

i got home at around 01:30

oh did i tell you that i'm now the 'activities director' - i had to laugh

(they ask the foreigner who works the most hours)

spring is on it's way...true story

we had 3days of pure sunshine this week - i wore sandals & no coat yesterday (ha! take that winter)

i only worked half-day today, so i went into the city to peruse the bits at the weekly market

-vendors sell everything from fresh veggies (yummy!) to boots, bags and fresh stroopwafels (yummer!)-

i scored myself two spring-ie dresses for an upcoming trip (tba)

it's my mom's birthday on the 29th (she gets wiser and more funny with age),

so i bought her a gift that's sure to make me the favourite child :)

versace perfume, hand lotion, the complete mr. bean dvd series & belgian chocolates - yes please!
busy trying to find the pretties/cost efficient way to wrap & send it off

which is in south africa. my home, my love, my blessing. they couldn't have chosen a better song

oh did you know i'll miss the world cup?
yes i will & i might possibly cry, but let's cross that bridge when we get to it.

okay i'm giving a talk at a baptism tomorrow, so i should probably start preparing it.
i like baptisms. giving talks - not so much.
