here's to a stellar* long weekend

my weekend began yesterday,
with a great koninginnedag (queens day) celebration with old & new friends in groningen
dancing in the street
playing "spot the sober person"
card games in the park
dinner at a great hidden gem of a greek restaurant
laughter, good food, and conversations about travel

the day ended with janet and i not being let onto the train because it was filled. to. capacity.
chris kindly offered to drive us home & i thankfully took a nap in back while they chatted

now off to the market with sarah & her aunt wait patiently for the plumber to come & fix my 'no hot water' situation
and the electrician to fix my "no heating" problem
