i spent the day magically changing my kitchen wall from red...to white, and thereafter looking for colour inspiration

i happily stumbled upon this beauty of a space. i'm in love.

played a couple games of uno with some young adults tonight - f.u.n.

general conference was amazing. seriously, i'm so glad i didn't miss it.

i watched one of the sessions over at a friends place & we all had so much fun....

we started off with tapas and chit chat, then watched the saturday pm session & thereafter played a fun and rowdy game of 'risk'

and yes, we're all still friends. haha.

{i must say though, it wasn't easy shaking luit's hand after he won the game. i like to win. it's what i do}

the festivities ended after midnight & we're sure to plan another day of fun soon.

hmmm perhaps i'll take photos next time

on an even more exciting note {uhm, not really}

gluten-free living is going very well. i even found a bakery in town that sells the yummiest gluten-free cupcake things. yay for me!

now for the next challenge {i like to keep my life exciting}:

NO DAIRY.

yes, this just may be slightly {or very} difficult, -even more so, considering that i live in the land of cheese-

but i'm up for the challenge.

my bathroom is an eye-sore

truly.

by the time we'd fixed up the apartment, it was just too exhausting to even think about the bathroom

but now, it needs a change

i don't have a big budget, so it'll be small changes to tweek it a little.

i spent yesterday painting white, the cracks inbetween the tiles (what's it called again??)

it now looks a little brighter & cleaner

whilst doing this i realised that the tiles are a pale yellow colour - yay!!

i can barely cook. but i'm learning - slowly but surely.

i put my earphones in

the left ear doesn't work

got out of my pj's,

got dressed,

got in the car, drove to media markt

bought new ones

and now i'm back... & in my pj's

music, for me, sounds better through earphones

i can think better

i can write better

just me.

speaking of music,
while at media markt i picked up pinks album - delayed i know, but hey i like to let things simmer
and "the devil wears prada"

and now, i'm watching
the mtv europe music awards... on my laptop... in bed :)
